The battery is charged as you drive via the braking system, harnessing the energy from deceleration – meaning your Santa Fe Hybrid is always charged and ready to drive.

For easier 3rd row entry and exit, a one-touch button quickly collapses and slides the 2nd row seats forward, so kids can get in and out from the 3rd row much more easily and with little assistance.

From taking kayaks and surfboards for the holidays, to taking your neighbour’s kids on your morning school run, your Santa Fe helps you fit everything in with 60/40 split folding seats in the 2nd row and 50/50 in the 3rd row (which can also be laid completely flat).

And in the Santa Fe you get total peace of mind because the cabin is equipped with a variety of child safety seat attachment points. You’ll find all 2nd row seats have top-tether points (LH, centre, RH), with two ISOFIX points on the outboard seats.

From fishing rods to school science experiments, whatever you need to carry with you, the family-friendly Santa Fe can handle it all with 571 litres with the 3rd row seats folded flat or up to 782 litres of total cargo capacity with both 2nd & 3rd row seats folded flat.

For those sitting in the back seats, these retractable sunshades will filter out much of the radiant glare and heat on the hottest of days, and can be quickly rolled down and out of the way again when that extra layer of protection is no longer needed.

The front radar sensor and windshield-mounted camera detect and monitor vehicles, pedestrians and cyclists in front of you. If a potential collision is detected, you’ll receive audible and visual warnings, and your brakes may be applied too.

Smart Cruise Control with Stop & Go

Detects the speed and distance of vehicles ahead of you, and maintains a safe distance from them. In stop/start traffic, it will automatically bring you to a stop when appropriate, then automatically accelerate back up to the original set speed.

Available on the Active, Elite and Highlander variants.

Lane Keeping Assist

At speeds of +60 km/h, if your Santa Fe detects that it’s straying out of its lane without its indicators being activated, an audible and visual alert will be triggered.

Blind-Spot Collision Warning.

Radar sensors on the rear bumper will alert you to vehicles next to and diagonally behind you, in case you haven’t already noticed them.

Rear Cross-Traffic Collision Warning

Keeps an eye out for vehicles approaching from either side of you when you’re reversing out of a perpendicular parking space. If it detects them, audible and visual warnings will activate.

High Beam Assist

Scans the road ahead for lights, then automatically adjusts headlamp range, switching between high and low beam.

Available on the Active, Elite and Highlander variants.

Advanced Smart Parking Assist System

What could be more convenient than a steering assist system that helps manoeuvre in and out of parking spots? Simply select ‘Reverse Parking (90^o)’, ‘Parallel Parking’ or 'Parallel Exit’ mode and let your vehicle do the rest.

Rear Occupant Alert

An industry-first feature that monitors the back seats to detect passengers and alerts you if someone’s still in the car after it’s been switched off and the doors have been locked.

Available on the Elite and Highlander variants.

Safe Exit Assist

The system detects any oncoming vehicles approaching from the rear and alerts you that it may be dangerous for passengers to exit. And if the child safety lock is activated, the SEA system will prevent that door from being opened.

Available on the Elite and Highlander variants.

Driver Attention Warning

If the system detects erratic steering, sudden braking or an inability to stay within your lane, driving alerts will appear on your screen. Based on how long you’ve been driving, it may also recommend you take a break.

Surround View Monitor

This gives you an animated bird’s eye view of your Santa Fe's surroundings, making it easier to park in tight spaces. Rear View Mode lets you see what’s behind you when luggage or equipment is blocking your line of sight.
